Treatment Techniques:
EndyMed Fractional Skin Resurfacing
The EndyMed PURE uses advanced radiofrequency for fractional skin resurfacing with minimal downtime. This treatment is perfect for treating hyper-pigmentation (Brown Spots) on all areas of the body.
The radiofrequency is delivered to the epidermis which is removed in microdots when intense, but rapid heat spots are created. Although the microdots are difficult to see, they stimulate the natural healing response to create fresh new skin thus softening and brightening the skin while removing hyper-pigmentation.
As this treatment uses your skin's natural ability to heal, you won't see the full effects of the treatments until the end of your course. You will, however, start to see an improvement after just a few weeks.
A course of treatments maybe recommended, with treatments normally 4 to 6 weeks apart, depending on the dept and amount of Hyper-pigmentation. Immediately after treatment you will experience some redness which can last up to 2 days. You may also develop micro-crusting as the skin cells renew and the resurfacing takes place - this can last 3 to 5 days but is easy to cover with makeup. For your comfort a topical anaesthetic cream may be applied before treatment which means appointments could take 30 to 60 minutes.
Laser pigmentation treatments
Our Light Sheer Desire can treat brown age spots, also known as “liver spots”, freckles and many brown birthmarks on the hands and body. Lasers are good at reducing or removing smaller targeted pigmentation from the deeper dermal layers.
Typically treatments will take 15 to 30 mins. While a course is not necessary - several treatments maybe required depending on the extent of the pigmentation. You will experience redness in the treated area for 24-28 hours.
